Is it possible to have a glossary of terms included please. The documentation is a bit confusing as it stands. The Introduction talks about a lot of things without actually defining them:

– Portfolio – is this actually just a Page with a specific template applied?
– Portfolio Item – what is this and why? It doesn’t appear it can be added to a Portfolio but the name implies it should be. This appears to be a new Page in itself
– Department – what is this and why? Is a ‘Department’ actually a ‘Category’..?
and so on.

Maybe a schematic similar to an object model would be useful in setting out the relationships between everything. And up-front defining these concepts would be really useful before launching into how to set them up. That’s helpful but why set them up e.g. There’s just no context outlined first.

I have searched and can’t find anything on this in the documentation for example

Hi, It is basic terms that are why we didn’t want to explain it in the documentation.
It is a basic feature to show your projects. Actually, I would recommend you to search tutorial for WordPress. It is WordPress’s feature.
In basic terms, you are a greengrocer and you have a shop. “Shop” is the portfolio and your fruits are portfolio item. and their kind and colors are the departments.
