Hi,

I purchased the Efor theme today, installed it in WordPress together with the demos. I activated the theme and the Judy West demo and started to edit it. At a certain point the website wasn’t working anymore, I got this error: “There has been a critical error on this website.”

I tried to deactivate and activate the plugins from the wp admin, but when I reactivated them, I got this error: “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
I can’t log into the wp admin anymore and I can’t access the recovery page either. It’s giving me this error: “Recovery mode not initialized.”

I received an email with the error details and the current versions. Please see them below:

Could you please investigate and let me know how to get access to the website and wp admin? Right now I only have access to cpanel (hosting).

You can contact to your hosting company and get help to reach the wp admin panel.

I managed to get wp admin access back, Efor theme is installed and the Judy West demo is active, but the website shows the same message about the critical error. Could you please take a look and let me know what’s wrong?

I reset the theme and demo and it’s ok now. Can you please help me understand how I can change the background image on the homepage? I managed to change the ones below, but not the one at the top of the page.

There is a new feature for the elementor. You can set up background image individually for desktop, tablet and mobile. Please see the screenshot below.

Hi,

I tried to do that on my desktop, but the button at the top of the page is dissapearing as I’m moving my mouse towards it to click on the dots in the middle.

I tried to change if from my phone, but the change is not being saved, as the “update button doesn’t appear on the page on my phone. Can you change it for me if I send you the photo?

Hi,

I figured out the image issue, but now I have another issue with the blog page. When I go to Pages -> Blog -> Edit, it doesn’t open up the page with the Elementor editor, it opens a normal WordPress page that is empty.
However, the blog page on the website has a few articles and images on it that came with the Judy West demo.

How can I access and edit them?

Hi Diana,
Apart from our demo settings, you can customize the blog page with elementor as well.
https://elementor.com/blog/create-blog-page-wordpress
Go to settings > reading > post page > change blog page to smth else. If this is selected, elementor wont allow you to customize it.
