Hello,

I just installed the theme and i can’t edit the homepage with elementor, it just loads an error like “the_content” WP function isn’t usable.

Checked other pages (contact, resume and so on) and all of them work flawessly, the issue just happens with Home one.

Not really sure about why isn’t working, it’s the first time i try Elementor builder.

Hi,
I tried to login your website but i am getting this message “Nombre de usuario desconocido. Compruébalo de nuevo o inténtalo con tu dirección de correo electrónico.”
Go to settings > reading > change the homepage and try to edit the homepage again.

I somehow fixed it, had to manually add that function where the template loads functions, but i guess i shouldn’t force it as doesn’t seem to be an editable page. Not sure if this is on purpose, so we just can edit home page from Apparence->Customize.

By the way i’m having a different issue with elementor. If i add some different content to any page, it’s shown on the Elementor page (i can see my changes) but when i load the page from the browser, icons and effects aren’t shown (but any other change like text or order is shown).

On the homepage, sub page’s content is fetched via ajax, so any element which requires extra javascript to work (such as entrance animations) won’t work on your homepage, sorry but there is nothing we can do about it because of the limitation of the ajax fetched page nature

Okay, got it.

As i’m not really proficient with ajax/js, can you tell me how to add more data to that ajax fetch? Like for example data from elementor basic elements, as Icons aren’t loaded but GMaps is.

If possible, a small tutorial about how to add data from external plugins would be great, as i have a couple elementor plugins that i’d like to use.

Hi, this is not available by default, needs more further customizations, if you are not familiar to coding you may consider hiring an expert at wpkraken.io to do the job for you.

Hi,
You should edit the homepage and change the template from homepage to default then elementor will allow you to edit it.

Yes, but that doesn’t solve my problem. I don’t want to go into default mode, but stay in “homepage” mode to edit elements.

Hi,
You can go to appearance > customize > general > music autoplay > choose yes and save it.
I mean, you can edit your homepage then change it back to homepage again. When homepage template is selected, elementor doesn’t allow you to edit it. Or you can create a new page, edit it then save it as homepage. This is the other option.

I just tried again doing what you told me. It gives me the same problem. Popup with message: Missing “the_content” function.

Could you add this function so that I can use Elementor again?
