Elementor Widgets Import Fails

    Dear Support,

I tried to import all demo data. But I get an error message when I try to import die widgets for elementor. Sadly, the demo pages are just blank at the pspots where there should be the podcasty-widgets. And whatever tool I try, I get an error message “500” during import.

    Any clue?

Meanwhile, I figured it out, but I do have another question:

I can’t get the podcast player in podcast posts working. Whatever I do, the player does not appear. The player does not show up in the demo posts neither. They look completely like in the live demo online. But in the backend, there’s nothing I can do. There are no podcast specific fields.

    Best wishes

    Dear Serkan,

I am sorry to have you bothered twice and then figuring it out myself.

    – First problem, in case others ant to know: Podcasty does not have it’s own elementor-widgets in the widgets’ list like others. But they have quite a few nice layouts that can be found in the page templates themselves. Works the same way, it’s only harder to find. It took me time though, to figure that out.

    – Second problem: I was still not able to get the audio player running with files that are uploaded locally to the WordPress media storage. But I was able to get another provider running, that is not yet to be found in the list provided by Podcasty: Podigee. So, if you use Podigee, just embed the iframe code snippet into the article, and it will look just like the Spotify player and all the other players. Great!

So thank you very much. I hope, you appreciate me posting the solutions so that they might help others.

    Dear Michael,

Thank you for your message and for sharing the solutions you found! I truly appreciate your effort in figuring things out and taking the time to document them so that others might benefit as well.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience you faced along the way, but I’m glad to hear that you managed to resolve the issues. The information about Podcasty’s templates and the workaround with Podigee will definitely be valuable to others.

If you ever need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to help!

    Best regards,
    Serkan
