I am using the Archy theme

I have created a child theme

Today when looking at the website, all the email addresses on the website are formatting incorrectly

the website is http://www.bosworthslandscaping.co.uk

The formatting is showing incorrectly in the footer of each page and in the meet the team sections on the home page and the about us page.

There does not seem to be any updates in the plugins section

Please can you advise thank you

Just to add

Works fine in the Brave browser
Does not work in Chrome or Edge
Anywhere there is an email address is just will not even show it, even it is not a clickable link but just text.

I checked the issue you described. Since the email addresses display correctly in Brave but not in Chrome or Edge, this suggests it may be related to browser rendering or a CSS/JavaScript conflict rather than a plugin update.

Here are a few steps you can try:

Clear browser cache in Chrome/Edge and check again.

Inspect the email text with Developer Tools (F12) to see if there are any inline styles (e.g., display:none, visibility:hidden, or special character encoding) being applied.

Check your child theme CSS/JS files – sometimes custom CSS or minification can affect how certain text (like email addresses) is displayed.

Temporarily switch to the parent theme to see if the issue persists. If it works fine, the issue is coming from the child theme customization.

Check if your hosting has email address obfuscation enabled (some security or antispam features automatically hide email addresses in certain browsers).

Could you please try switching to the parent Archy theme (just for testing) and let me know if the problem remains? That will help us narrow down if the issue is from the child theme.

Once we confirm that, I’ll guide you on the exact fix.

I have tried the parent theme but the problem is still there

It is only email addresses and this is really just text like anything else

Any other help would be greatly appreciated

I have fixed the issue and found it to be a plugin causing the problem
