    hi there,

i was creating another portfolio following the multiple portfolio section in the documentation,

i think i got it. But there is a problem. Check my website: http://www.thewhaleside.com

i’ve created through the menu and the departments, three different portfolios (exteriors, interiors, illustration). good. But i want illlustration not to be visible as a category in my homepage portfolio, i don’t want any illustration at all in my main portfolio page. I want illustration only as a second portfolio accessible only from the menu.

How can i exclude a category from showing from the main portfolio ajax page?

Hi, this is not available by default, needs more further customizations. If you are not familiar to WordPress coding you may consider hiring an expert at Envato Studio. Thanks

    ok,

is it possible to have the nice ajax category buttons that i ve for the main portfolio, also for the secondary portfolios ?

i think that i would need two different and indipendent portfolios and i would be done right ?

nevermind, i did it creating parent departements.

now i’m one step closer to what i’m trying to achieve. I have only one problem. I need to set this page http://www.thewhaleside.com/department/perspectives/ as an homepage. Then i’m done. The problem is that it is not physically a Page, so i cannot choose it from the static front page menu in the reading options on WP.

How can i achieve that ?

    thanks!

Only pages are available as a front page from reading settings by default. But you can search a plugin to control it.

once upon a time you were way more collaborative with people who gave you money for one of your creations.
