    Hi,

I built my website locally using Wamp (windows). I am now ready to go live.

I purchased a hosting for my WordPress website built with The Blogger. i tried to export it from Wamp and then import it on the live hosting uploading the XML file but everything is broken: files missing, blog all over the place.

Do you know what would be the best way to transfer the exact same thing to the live environment? Please help.

    Thanks

    Hi,
When WordPress engine is installed, you’ll be able to access your website from your browser. You should type in the WordPress admin username and password you’ve set when installing WordPress.
Login to your website’s Dashboard using your username and password and navigate to Appearance > plugins tab in the left column.
Activate one click demo import plugin and default theme plugins. Then run the import demo content and just wait.
    Thanks

    Hi,

done this. It imported the demo but without the content and setup…

Looks like i will have to rebuild everything in the live environment.

    Hi,
Could you please try to do it when you go online and keep me updated?
If any errors occur, we can easily solve them.
    Thanks

Not sure about what you are asking.

i’ve built my website locally on my laptop using Wamp.

I got an hosting and want to migrate the site from local environment to live environment.

when trying to do so (using export>import wordpress function, it doesn’t work)
when using 1 click demo import, it doesn’t import the demo but out of the box, without my modification and configuration and images etc….

    thanks

    Hi,
Could you provide me your wp admin details via private content box?
I will have a look for you.
