1. I have tried to remove dark mode in customizer but the back ground changes to white temporarily then switches its self to dark, mode
2. How do I create pages with portfolios without them appearing in the work categories.
wanted to make portfolios for different projects

Hi,

1-) Dark mode can also be overridden in Page Edit Screen, for some page you need to change it here;

2-) This is not possible by default but, you can create a regular page and create a gallery inside it.
