Feature Request: Custom Sort Order To Portfolio

uCard’s portfolio sorts all items chronologically. If you want to change the order items appear in the portfolio, it’s possible to do so by altering the publication date. That’s how I’m sorting my portfolio now – by creating false publication dates. It’s cumbersome and it would be great if a future update made it easy both to change list order as well as to have some items “pinned” to the top.

In my case, for my portfolio, there are some things I want people to see right away when they click portfolio even if the item is a few years old and even if I add newer stuff to the portfolio. You both have access to my not-yet-public website so you can see the kinds of items I’m talking about (mostly in the “In The News” section where I want some items from certain organizations to be on top of the list no matter what).

Hi, this is not available by default, needs more further customizations, if you are not familiar to coding you may consider hiring an expert at wpkraken.io to do the job for you.

Hi Serkan – I don’t need this feature right now and I didn’t realize that I’d be expected to pay extra to a third party to get this feature.

I strongly recommend Pixelwars staff consider adding this feature in a future update to the theme. You are marketing this to creative professionals and the portfolio is a key selling point. Creative professionals may want to have their best work front and center and that may not always be their latest work.

You have a great product and adding this feature will only make it become the best.

    P.S.

I didn’t realize the website I used to purchase your theme takes such a huge cut before you see any money. I would have gladly paid Pixelwars directly if that gave you the budget to set aside time to improve the product like this. I’m sure I”m not alone in this.
