When I add featured area on homepage it removes all page content, side bar and footer. Please advise.

Hi,
Probably there is a unceserrary widget in the featured area. Just be sure there is not two main slider in the featured area.

the main slider will not show up and when I set featured area it removes all page content, side bar and footer. I have gotten rid of all widgets and tried many combinations i.e with and without link box/ main slider

There doesn’t seem to be any unnecessary widgets.

Do you have any other suggestions.

Hi,
You have main slider and link box widgets in the homepage featured area.
If you add appart from these, it will affect the homepage. You are saying that main slider will not show up but i am able to see your main slider in the homepage featured area.

Hi,
I went to appearance > widgets > drag and drop link box widgets to the blog widget area and saved it.
So you can easily customize it. And also please use the customizer to set up blog according to your taste.

I almost have it unless for the arrows and the thw width of the slider, if it could be boxed and not full width?

Hi Marjorie,
Please go to appearance > widgets > featured area > general > featured area width > fixed
Also, check out the customizer. You can almost customize everything.
