Is there a way to make the display thumbnail on the portfolio page different from the main large image after you click on the thumbnail?

I figured it out. If anyone else wants to do this, you choose the gallery option. Set the featured image for a thumb and upload your main image under Portfolio Item type.

In my portfolio, I would like the captions for my featured images to be displayed. Currently, when you click on the thumbnail portfolio item and it opens up, the caption does not show for the featured image. I tried using the gallery portfolio item type, and it does the same thing. Can you help? I want to credit the photographer for the image.
