I love the masonry blog layout for my home page but there’s a problem. All my blog posts have a featured image, multiple blog images, and text. The images are always on top followed by text in the bottom of the blog post. I usually add the More tag right before the text begins. What happens is all my images from the post show up on the homepage, i.e Featured image followed by the images right till where I added the More tag. Is it possible to only show the featured image on the home page along with the continue reading…line for all posts ?
Hope I didn’t confuse you. I can show you some images in case I wasn’t clear.
In my case, a blog post always has a featured image and one or more post images. I always add the More tag right after the images that are inserted in the post.
What I want to do is I would like to simply show each post’s featured image on the blog’s home page, NOT the image that is inserted into the post. I can do it by adding the more tag on top of the page so that the homepage only shows the Featured Image but that is messing up the content in feed reader. What do I need to change to show the featured image along with the title and meta bar, and not show images inserted into posts?
