I would like to keep my featured image out of my gallery – is this possible? I am cropping the featured image differently form the images in the gallery. Once I set a featured image it automatically gets placed in the gallery as the first image.

Portfolio item’s featured image is for portfolio page thumbnail viewing. In gallery type portfolio item has ten field for its slider.
