I have uploaded the Blogger theme and added Demo data.
However my homepage does not look like the Demo – there are no images but if you select the sub pages In the drop downs they have images. Is this correct?

Can you explain the order i should change my template home page

I wish to have a:

John = top menu bar

Then Blogger style = Slider with 3 images across the page

Blogger = about me on right with
List format image and text (like milo)

Do i need to publish after each amendment?

When editing the rest of the site – Do i need to save the demo pages in case i need to reuse their format Or can i create them again from scratch?

Hi,
You can do it in the customizer. Please go to appearance > customize > header > general > choose header layout and save it.
Dashboard > appearance > widgets > you can customize the slider in the page/blog featured area.
Dashboard > appearance > widgets > page/blog sidebar > you can customize the sidebar widgets here.
Also, you can go to appearance > customize > blog/single blog / you can choose the list format.
You can edit the demo site, use the parts you need, and delete the parts you don’t need.
