Hi,
I’m trying to set up the home page slider so that it displays on the full width of the page.
For some reason even if the full width is selected in the slider widget features, it still shows with margins.
You can have a look at my website here: almostberliner.com
I’m trying to follow the adventura style: http://themes.pixelwars.org/theblogger/adventura/
Furthermore, I wonder how to achieve the pictures of the posts in the grid format to have different sizes (some larger than the other) as per the above adventura style example. Can I set any size at all with a css.
1-) to have full-width slider, you also need to set
– Customizer > General > Layout > Body Layout = Full width
– Customizer > Featured Area > Featured Area Width = Full
2-) If you upload in different aspect ratio images (wide – tall – square etc..) for your posts you will have a masonry blog layout as in Adventura demo. Currently all your featured images are wide.
Thanks so much, now the full width works. check: almostberliner.com
Sorry to continue this issue but how do I customise the slider so that the width stays this way but I make the picture shorter? Now it covers the whole page and I am going after a picture that is a bit shorter,as per the “adventura” example. Does that connect to the dimensions of the picture as well or I can use custom css to change the dimensions of it?
