Hi there!

I have created a gallery using WordPress native gallery toold (Add Media -> Create Gallery -> Upload Pictures -> Insert).

I end up with something like this:

[gallery ids="849,848,847,846,845,844,843,841,839,836,828,830,831,832,834,827,825,824,823,822,821,820,819,818,817,809,811,814,815,808,807,806,805,803"]

Then I set the type of Post to “Gallery”. I have no third party plugins for galleries or anything that might interfere. I can see that the pictures are indeed attached to the post.

But when I open the post, this is what I get: “The image could not be loaded”.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Could you try to use it like this;

[gallery link="file" columns="2" size="large" ids="849,848,847,846,845,844,843,841,839,836"]

Edit your images and they should be link to media file not to attachment file.

Great! Thanks! That worked without changing anything else. I created the gallery normally using WordPress gallery (that adds images as attachments).
