Hi,
my preferred gallery setting is “random order” Tilled mosaic” Standard gallery.
This I find is best optimised on a mobile device but on the desktop screen the gallery is not entered under the title text and looks odd. Can this be entered?
Also in the demo the “work” page is optimised for mobile, all 8 galleries appear on the phone screen but on mine only two Hugh thumbnails fit on the screen and you have to scroll which does not look good.

Hi Noel,
Jetpack plugin is not suitable with the theme. But you can try to use this custom css code more align issue.

.tiled-gallery .gallery-row { margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

I could not pinpoint the next problem. When I enter the URL for the mobile phone, the site looks like the demo.

The “Work” page with the 8 thumbnail galleries is optimised to fit on a mobile screen (two columns of 4) on demo but on my site you have to scroll down as it displays 1 col X 8 thumbnails ..!

Hi Noel,
I just checked our demo url and your url as well. The portfolio page is showing 1 col for mobile. But single portfolio items depends on your settings. You have the same settings so i didn’t see any problem. Could you please tell me your test devices and can you send me a screenshot please so I can understand better.

Hi, I saw the screenshots,

– in the first screenshot, you are actually seeing the desktop layout because preview frame bar is active on this site.

– however, if you would like to have 2 columns portfolio on mobile, you can try this custom css code;

    .gallery-grid .masonry-item {
        width: 50%; float: left;
    }

Hi, thanks for your help here. Ive inserted the code but it seems to have upset the “My Work” page on the PC view. Two of the thumbnails drop down. I think I also noticed when I clicked on some random images in the portfolios they were not found..!It however sorts the mobile view exactly the way I want it and I think it looks so much better, but Ive reversed what Ive done for fear of going down an alley that I won’t be able to get back from..!
I have no knowledge of websites /code and am so pleased to have got this far with this site on my own, I would be very appreciative if you would go in and sort this mobile view for me.

Hi Noel,
While adding the Featured images, make sure the aspect ratio is equal. There will not be any photos falling down. If the photo is not found, you can try to upload it. If you are still having problems, you should disable 3rd party plugins. You can let us know if there’s anything we can help you with.
