Green x button to exit a portfolio page doesn't work

Is this a common problem? Is there a way to simply have the x button direct the user back to the portfolio page? I’ve tried it on multiple browsers and my phone and all have the same issue.

    Thanks

Also, I deactivated all plugins and the problem was still there so that isn’t the issue. All I have done is imported the sample data. Everything else on the site seems to be working perfectly.

    Also the website is: http://bojodo.com/#/portfolio

    Hi benod1,
Go to settings > permalinks > Choose post name options.

    Hi serkan,
This didn’t fix the problem. I have post name selected but the green x to exit out of a portfolio page still doesn’t work.

    Hi benod1,
Your first portfolio item is working correctly but the others aren’t working properly. It is an awkward situation. Delete your portfolio page and create a fresh copy please. Read the documentation step by step.
Create a portfolio item: Go to: Portfolio > Add New:
    – Set a featured image.
    – Select a department.
    – Write short description.
    – Select “Type”.
Go to appearance > Widgets section and use theme portfolio widget to show portfolio items.
( Title: portfolio, Select a Page: portfolio; )
Don’t use custom page in the widget section instead of the portfolio.
    Please check these steps again.
    Thanks

This is exactly how I set it up initially, following the documentation step by step. The only issue is with pages like this: http://bojodo.com/#/portfolio/xx-energy-drink/

Clicking the x in the top right changes the URL to http://bojodo.com/#/ but does not exit the profile. Everything else (lightbox, etc, seems to work and allow the user to exit out of them) but the x on these portfolio pages won’t allow the user to click off of it.

Any update on this? The lightbox is what is working correctly, it’s portfolio pages (for example the XX Energy Drink section that I linked to above) that the x won’t work on. This is a major problem as it doesn’t function as it should – it simply needs to go back to /#/portfolio but instead goes to /#/ which does nothing.

    Benod hi,

May i ask u some off-topic questions, how u settled up this kind of popup window http://joxi.ru/bmoWYREf4OOxmy and a pdf preview http://joxi.ru/Y2LXelzI5xxg26

    By some extra plugins right?!

    and sorry for disturbing =)

The first window is using Shortcodes Ultimate plugin and then a lightbox iframe linking to that page. The PDF preview is also using the same plugin but can also be achieved by using a plugin called PDF Embedder. I’m happy to help :)

The original problem persists, even after deactiviting all plugins.

Hi, it is weird. A”portfolio” word doesn’t come from your database for the url of the X button. So, try this:

    – Go to: Appearance > Widgets,

    – Open your portfolio widget in the widget area,

    – Click the “Save” button of the widget to send your portfolio page’s slug to your database for using in the url of the X button.
