Hi,
I am using the homepage which also display the blog articles and that’s fine.
But i would also have the articles shown on a page called “Blog” in my main menu so users could navigate to the Blog and see all the articles there.
I have screenshots ready of what i mean (but i don’t know where to upload them here)
I guess it all has to do with the Read option config (Homepage (static) and blog (blog) or something but don’t know how to pull this of?
Or maybe we need to use shortcodes to pull articles on the Blog page….Could you help?
Hi,
You can not display the blogs on the homepage and blog page at the same time. WordPress doesn’t allow you to do that. Because when you go to settings > reading > you need to set up homepage and blog page.
But I can give you a solution.
You can use custom homepage. Example home alternate page.

You can display the blogs and also if your visitors click to blog link, they will see all your posts.
Thankshi Serkan,
thank you for that solution. I am not sure i understand well…
You mean that i can not use the DEFAULT theme, i need to use an alternate homepage and then create a stating homepage to use as a homepage and another page to display the posts? Is that it?Where do i select an alternate homepage? Where can i see the look and feel of these?
thanks
I think i found the “home Alternate” page. My question is then: can reproduce on that page the same look and feel than a homepage with the featured area and the link box at the top and then display the latest blog post at the bottom and use a static blog page with a link in the menu to go on a specific page for the blog with all the article?
thanks
Hi,
Please go to pages > home alternate > on the right hand side, you can see the featured area section. You can set up the featured area for slider and links box and save it. By the way, you can achieve what you need.
ThanksYou’re welcome, please don’t forget to rate the theme on themeforest if you liked it, thanks.
Hello!
I have the same problem and I don’t find how to put the “home Alternate” page, I just don’t find it. The way I understand it, I go to settings > reading > and I set up homepage and blog page. But the problem is that I don’t know how to reproduce the same look of my homepage on that new page. I don’t know how to add all the widget proposed on the Blog Feature Area: Main Slider and Link Box.Thank you a lot!
