Hi,
I have tried to upload a logo in the Theme Options page to enable an image to come at the top of the menu as it has in the demo but it does not seem to be working – is there a specific size that is required for that section?
Many thanks,
Hi, when uploading your image logo, you need to set
Link Url = File UrlSize : Full Sizeand then click on “Insert Into Post” button.
ThanksHi Serkan,
That has been fixed thank you! There are a couple more issues though:
1) The icons are not showing up in the main menu even though they have been assigned in the widgets section.
2) Is it possible to reduce the size of the text on the footer of the menu as the copyright is over two lines at the moment?
3) All blog posts seem to return a 404 error at the moment. I imported an .xml file from another wordpress site with all of the posts but it doesn’t seem to be working properly – any idea what the problem could be?
Many thanks!
Hi hiran1,
1) You can check out this related topic;
http://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/how-to-show-icon-on-menu/2) You can use this custom css code;
.copy-text p { font-size: 9px; }3) Go to settings > permalinks > choose default and save it then choose post name and save it
Thanks
Hi Serkan,
Thank you for your help – I have managed to fix option 1 and 2.
On option 2 just wanted to ask if there is a shortcode I can use for current year so that I don’t have to keep updating it year on year that would work in that space?
Option 3 is still retrieving a 404 error even though I saved it as “Plain” and then “Post” – any idea why it isn’t working?
Many thanks,
Hi, Please check your widget settings and deactivate all your plugin and try it again?
There is not any shortcode for the copy text.
ThanksHi Serkan,
That has all been fixed thank you!
Just wanted to ask – is there anyway to display the caption on featured images in the blogs? Need it to display photo credits to prevent copyright infringements – how can this be displayed?
Thank you.
Hi,
It is not possible by default. You can use this plugin;
https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-credit/
Also you can add your copyright end of the post in the content editor manually.
ThanksHi Serkan,
I tried to use this plugin for the featured image and it works but it puts it at a weird part of the picture.
Is there any way to justify the caption text so that it is the furthest right of the image?
Also I chanaged the Home icon, but when it goes to the blog or portfolio and you want to go back, it reverts back to the original icon that comes with the theme – is there a fix for this?
Also, before I forget, is there a way to organise portfolio items and rearrange them without changing the publish dates?
Hi,
Could you provide öe your related URL please?
I didn’t test that plugin. The third party of plugins can affect the themes most of the time. I would recommend you to search and install another copyrights plugin.
You can not rearrange the portfolio items without changing the publish dates.
ThanksHere is the URL: http://www.hiranadhia.com/tolerance-begins-at-home/
There is also a weird caption at the bottom in the related posts now?
P.S. note the original home icon instead of the one that I changed it to.
The website is unavailable. Could you please let me know when it is online.
It should be sorted now – if you clear your browser cache then it should be working :)
Hi, You can use this custom css code for the home icon;
.pe-7s-home:before { content: "\e667" !important; }Media credit plugin is conflicting with the theme that is why the theme getting weird. I would recommend you to delete that plugin and search another one. We don’t provide support for third party of plugin.
ThanksHi,
Thanks for the css code – that worked a treat!
I tried a few media credit plugins but they are not working, I think they might be conflicting with the theme. Is there any way to add a manual credit at the bottom with a divider, and the text slightly faded out and grey which I can copy and paste? Is there a shortcode I could use for that?
Also there are a couple of others things that I noticed:
1) The animations have stopped working or are glitching on my website in between selecting pages (www.hiranadhia.com)
2) When you scroll down on one page and then click to another, it starts lower down on the next page – is it possible to have it start at the top when you click to another page to avoid confusion?
3) On the contact page – is it possible to make the background a bit more opaque so that you can make out the details a bit more? It is clashing at the moment (especially with the phone number) and wanted to ask what the best fix would be?
Many thanks for your help, Serkan!
Hi Hiran,
It is one-page layout. So when you left the page in somewhere when you go to next tab it will start at the same level because WordPress is thinking that it is still one page. I mean when you change the menu still your layout is not changing. It is changing when you go to single post or pages. So it is not possible by default.
If your animations have stopped, check the appearance > customize > Empathy Page Animation > check your settings . If you still have the problem, please deactivate all your plugin and try it again.
Sorry, credits feature is not available by default and it requires more time and effort to customization if you are not familiar with coding you may consider hiring an expert at envato studio.Hi Serkan,
I didn’t realise that it was classed as a one page layout – thank you for explaining what that is. Also don’t worry about the credits feature – I will try and find a way to sort it out :)
1) Animations are still not working even though I deactivated the plugins and it seems fine when I look at the customisation menu. When I click from one page to another, there is a delay, the screen goes grey and then it moves to the next page in a quick movement – can this be fixed?
Also still struggling with this:
2) On the contact page – is it possible to make the background a bit more opaque so that you can make out the details a bit more? It is clashing at the moment (especially with the phone number) and wanted to ask what the best fix would be?
Thank you for your help!
Hi Hiran,
Please go to Appearance > theme options > layout > classic layout (no) if the yes is chosen, you should turn it to no.
You can use this custom css code;.map:after { background: rgba(17, 61, 74, 0.75); }Thanks
Hi Serkan,
Thanks very much – the custom css code worked a treat!
The only problem is that now the map is only a small square around the contact page instead of being full screen – any idea what the issue might be? http://www.hiranadhia.com/#/contact
Many thanks,
Please, make sure you don’t delete the last social icon. The last social icon has a different code to indicate it is the last one. You probably did this. Or just add this to your last one
[social_icon last_icon="yes" type="linkedin" url="whatever"]
ThanksHi Serkan,
Thanks for that – it is fixed!
One more thing I have noticed is that I tried to send a test message through the contact form and it is not working. Everything I tried to send something, I keep getting a red cross come up on screen which I assume means that it has not been sent?
Here is the code I have at the moment:
[section_title aign=”center” text=”Drop Me A Line”]
[contact_form to="hiranadhia@hotmail.com" subject="Contact form message from hiranadhia.com"]Is this wrong? What should I change to make sure it works?
Many thanks,
Hi, Your host may have disabled the mail() function. It must be enabled on your server.
If your server can not fix it then install and use ninja forms plugin instead of our default contact form.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms/installation/
ThanksHi Serkan,
Sorry to bother you again!
I spoke to my server host and they said that the mail () function is enabled and they sent a test email to me to show that the PHP side is working. They said that it was a scripting error so it may be something to do with the code that I have written. I keep getting the red cross when I try to send a test form.
Here is what I have on the contact page:
[section_title aign=”center” text=”Drop Me A Line”]
[contact_form to="hiranadhia@hotmail.com" subject="Contact form message from hiranadhia.com"]Is there anything wrong with this?

There is also another issue. I have managed to find a good caption plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-image-caption/) although I am having a slight issue that I need some urgent help with if possible.
If you look at this example post (http://www.hiranadhia.com/a-massive-fucking-queue/) then you can see that it works really well under the main featured image for that blog. HOWEVER, if you scroll down to the bottom to the related posts tab, the caption is still present for the featured image.
Is there anyway I can get some code to remove the caption under the Related Posts tab at the bottom, but keep it for the main featured image? I have been wracking my brains for ages, so if you can help, I would really appreciate it!
Many thanks,
HiranHi Hiran,
I would recommend you to use ninja form plugin instead of default contact form.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms/installation/
You can use this custom css code for your next issue..media-box .ccfic { display: none; }Thanks
Hi Serkan,
That has solved all of my problems, thank you so much for all of your help!
Many thanks,
You’re welcome, please don’t forget to rate the theme on themeforest if you liked it, thanks.
Hi Serkan,
Sorry to bother again, but I think the theme seems to keep breaking on my website…
If you look at this link on screenfly: http://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=https%3A//hiranadhia.com&w=1024&h=600
You can see that it is just all laid out with none of the styling or navigation – can you help and explain to me why this keeps happening?
Thanks,
HiranHi Hiran,
You mean the icon on the menu? It is now showing under 10″ screen because of the resolution. I actually couldn’t detect any issue. Do you have the same problem with our demo as well?Hi Serkan,
It was to do with a plugin issue so I managed to fix it myself – so sorry for bothering you!
Many thanks,
Hiran
