Hello!
I had to disable Ajax on all pages for it to display correctly, which is unfortunate, but understandable. Now that it’s disabled, there’s a header with “Home”, “Search”, etc. but the header image is black and I can’t seem to fix it.Hi,
Could you please provide me your related url?
ThanksHi,
I just replied your topic here.
https://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/cover-image-not-displaying/
ThanksThis is a different issue, the header on my About page (and others) is black. I’m referring to the top section containing the social media links, hone button, and search option.
Hi,
You can change the header background color with this css code;.header { background-color: #a8968f !important; }Thanks
That’s kind of helpful, but my issue is that I want an image but it doesn’t work. On the Ikonik demo there’s an image in the header but mine is blank. How do I use an image?
Hi,
You can go to dashboard > appearance > site identity > header background image > you can upload an image and save it.
ThanksYou’re killing me, Serkan……
The following images are my site with the header uploaded, and a blank header displaying on both the preview and the live site:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sb-tbXGuHL-yv0dM21oT8okB1nkEYBCu/view?usp=sharing
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AWC1dMg_SBzg7jAsnVPEL3fmDu7MSYxT/view?usp=sharingAs I’ve told you already, it isn’t working at all, and I’m having the same issue with my homepage cover, although I’ll bother you about that one in that thread. Please help me fix this issue, otherwise I’ll need to use another theme.
Update: uploading from a new computer fixes my homepage issue, but NOT my header issue. I still need help.
Hi, When uploading your image logo, you need to set
Link Url = FileUrl Size : Full Sizeand then click on “Insert Into Post” button.
If it is not working on your computer, one of your browser widget might block the upload it.
ThanksSerkan,
“Insert Into Post” isn’t a button at any point during the upload process. Please walk me through the steps of uploading a cover image and explain where I should see a way to “Link Url = File” “Url Size : Full Size”.Here’s a video of the upload process… How do I adjust the URL? Where’s the “Insert Into Post” button? What am I doing wrong??? I’ve been telling you I need to fix this for over a month.

Hi,
Header background image is required for where I show it. I will talk to the developer for the other part you mentioned.

ThanksNo, that’s not what that is. What you’re pointing to is the home cover image found under the homepage settings section. Again I’ll ask the question, where can I “set Link Url = File Url Size : Full Size and then click on “Insert Into Post” button”? Please show me with screenshots.
Hi, a plugin might be causing this issue, especially a plugin which adds lazy loading feature to the images, can you try disabling any extra plugin you have activated and check again, or try disabling lazy-loading of images of the header if possible. If you still can’t make it work, please provide your current wp-login details via the private content box (as I couldn’t log-in with the current login credentials.)
Have a nice day!
I deactivated, deleted, reinstalled, then reactivated all necessary plugins for the Ikonik theme (I had no others in use) and that solved my problem… briefly.
I uploaded an image for the header from my computer and it displayed on all devices, but after editing the image a bit and re-uploading, the header disappeared from my iPhone and iPad. After deleting then re-uploading from my phone it worked there, but still not my iPad. After deleting then re-uploading from my iPad, it displayed across devices. After all this, the header is still not able to be viewed on the Firefox browser on iPhone, even after clearing the cache.
I’m not sure if this indicates a caching issue or what, but I hate the idea of my edits to the header not displaying to clients who have already viewed my site with a blank header. Is there any insight you could share?
Update: the header doesn’t display on other mobile devices, either.
Hi, when I checked your page source code, I saw that header image is coming from a different domain (alexmakes.art.dream.website) and that domain’s ssl sertificate seems to be invalid, that’s why the image can’t be shown. I have logged in to your site and navigated to “Appearance > Customizer > Site Identity > Header Background Image” field was empty and I have just selected that image and saved the changes, now the header image seems to be loading fine on desktops and mobil devices.
Cheers.
