Hide Cart Icon and Add Profile Icon in Header

    Hello,

    I am using the Efor theme and I would like to adjust the header icons. At the moment I can see the cart icon and the search icon in the top menu.

    1. I would like to hide the cart icon.

    2. Instead, I would like to add a profile icon (user icon) next to the search icon. This should link to the login / My Account page (and ideally to the user dashboard after login).

    Could you please let me know:

    1. If there is a built-in option in the theme to do this?

    Thank you in advance for your support!

    Hi,
    You can hide the cart icon with this custom css code or you can deactive the woocomerce plugin and it will hide the cart icon.

    a.shopping-cart { display: none; }

    Currently you can add a Dashboard link to the menu and add “My Courses,” and “Profile Settings” as sub-menu items. Dashboard Icon in the header is a nice idea, we will keep that in mind for a future update.
    Also, you can check out this related topic;

    You can go to appearance > customize > you can customize the theme here.
    Thanks

    Hello,

    I don’t use Tutor LMS on my website. Instead, I am using the Amelia plugin for appointment booking.

    It would be very useful in a future update to have a control panel for header icons, so we can easily manage icons such as search, dashboard, and profile.

    For now, as a temporary solution, I have implemented the following:

    1. Replaced the cart icon with a profile icon using a custom Fontello icon (59465) and updated the link to the profile page.
    2. The search icon had been hidden via CSS.
    3. Applied custom CSS to style the new profile icon, including color and size.

    This workaround allows me to display the profile icon in the header while keeping the existing menu functional.

    Hi,

    Thank you for sharing your detailed workaround — that’s a smart and effective solution 👍.

    Currently, the theme doesn’t provide a built-in control panel for header icons, so using custom CSS and replacing icons via Fontello is indeed the right approach for now. We also appreciate your feedback about having an easier way to manage header icons (cart, profile, search, etc.). This is definitely a valuable suggestion, and we’ll consider it for a future update.

    In the meantime, if you’d like a more flexible setup, you can continue customizing via Appearance > Customize or by adding icons/links directly in your header template files. Since you’re using Amelia instead of Tutor LMS, linking the profile icon to your Amelia “My Profile” or “Appointments” page is the best option.

    Thanks again for your input and for pointing out this use case!

    Best regards,
    Serkan
