We all know that we need to put contact info on our web site so people can contact us. ‘Photographer’ HTML template has a great form to help our clients contact us but what if you also want to provide a direct email and a phone number to your client?

‘Photographer”s contact page has a place for those bits of information but if you just let it out for the world to see, it won’t take long before you will receive junk emails and phone calls from “windows Department” “Google Support” etc.

So how do we hide this info so CRAWLERS can not collect this info but your clients will see it?

One very easy solution is the web site:
thenetweb.co.uk/

Enter your email and phone number (one at a time) and it will generate a string of numbers that you can than insert in your contact.html.

Another great method is to use Javascripts. The disadvantage is that the browser used to view your site has to have javascripts enabled. Most do.

Go to joe maller’s site and scrol down a bit, you will see a small window form, just enter your email, check the “Super-paranoid (read below)” box and it will generate a Javascript. Copy and paste where your email is in the contact.html
