I hired someone on Fiverr to get me started on this. I didn’t realize I had to know so much code.
I want to change the four front page square photos. In the code, the photos come from an url. How can I simply change out the photos with my own.

I want to change the photos for my own photos and also change the font style and font size of the copy on top of those four photos. I already have links to pages created on these and do not want that to get messed up.

While we are at it, I want to change all of the resume page. Can I just create a page the way I want it in the editor and not need code for this page? That should get me to the next level for now.
The guy I hired literally took 2 minutes to get this looking like the demo. Is there a folder where all the code was that he used? I would think there would have to be. I don’t see how he could have written it so fast.

I also need to know how to change font size and style throughout all of the theme, not just the front page.

Hi,
I could not check your url because it is offline.
We have a documentation in the theme folder. You can upload the demo data and easily edit it.
The theme doesn’t need too much code knowledge. You can find whole information in the theme folder. I would recommend you to install and run one click demo import plugin.
You can go to homepage > go to the visual tab and replace the own images.
You can go to appearance > customize > fonts > change the font. For the font size, if you tell me which part of the theme, I can give you custom css code.

Hi, I think if you just go down to basics we’ll save you lots of time. I have books, I have videos but no can do.
I ran the one click demo plugin. I went to Appearance and Import Demo Data. It asks for an
XML file for content, a WIE or JSON file for widget and a DAT file for customizer.
There are a bunch of XML files and I don’t know which one to choose. I don’t see any WIE or JSON Files in any of the files.
I need to know exactly what folders to click on and where to find the appropriate files and what they are called. Do you have children? Pretend you are talking to a five-year-old. That’s how I feel with this.
To change images – I don’t see any choice for visual tab. I click on Dashboard – Home and see nothing. Please provide the exact-step-by-step places to click one at a time to find the visual tab you are referring to.

I even tried repasting the code on the 4 images on front page and they just turn to a black box. This is just an author website so doesn’t need a ton of edits. I just need to get it started. I would really appreciate if you could be extremely concise with step-by-step just to get me started. Then I’ll just hire someone at Fiverr to finish. I just can’t do that until I get some of it figured out.

I think I finally know what you mean by the visual tab. You mean on the page. However, I tried that and it does not work. I tried deleting the photo and adding my own, but the photo I added ended up above the grid of four – instead of replacing the one I deleted. I also tried using the address of the photo in the gallery and that did not work either.

Yes, that’s perfect. I’m on a deadline right now but I’ll put the photos in the media files and the info by the weekend. I appreciate it. I’ll go to the Contact Form with the info, once it is ready.

Hi,
I just added the related images. I clicked add media button then I added a caption for each image and I choose the full size and custom url then I saved.
If you go to appearance > customize > fonts > you can change the fonts for heading as well.
I added some custom CSS code for heading font size and also I added custom CSS code for the link box font size. You can see them if you go to appearance > customize > custom CSS.
