I am trying to get the homepage slider feature to work. This is a 2-part question:

1. When I add slides to the ‘slides’ section of the ui, the homepage automatically displays one of my videos, which I did not add in the slides section. Is this a bug?

2. I am following instructions for using the slider shortcode so I can have a full width slider on my homepage. The shortcode documentation is not providing enough info. It is not clear where and how I pull in the slide content. Is it supposed to pull info from the slides section of the admin?

How can I disable the arrows on my homepage slider only? (I’ve seen another post on how to do it when inserting a slider on another page, not home page)
