Hi there!

I have a little problem with the homepage-landing template. If i type into the browser http://www.andreaszrenner.de i’ll see just a white page.

I createt a page with title “home” and only this content:

As template i selectet “homepage-landing” and choose this page in wp settings as intro page. The rest of the my wp-installation works fine as you can see here:

The wierd fact is, that everything works fine if i’m logged in. If i log me into my wordpress as admin an then type http://www.andreaszrenner.de into another tab of the browser, everything works fine.

Any ideas?

Could you deactivate all your plugin and try it again. Your photowall animation is not working that is why you are not able to see the homepage.

This is the first thing i ever do if something’s going wrong. I also use a childtheme wich i have deactivatet to test with the original photographer theme. Same problem…

Any ohter ideas?

I think its kind of wierd that the landing page is working fine if i’m logged in. That suspends the possibility that it is a problem with the page itself or the shortcodes in there, doesn’t it`?

When I clicked ctrl+a on your home page, I got the text http://timtaller.com/tmp/image3.jpg

You might want to check the Theme customization. Your .home-wrap .intro is 255,255,255 = white as well as the background.

Thats an interesting fact! Thanks for it! But i can’t locate a problem in .css date of my childtheme. The problem still exists if i activate the origignal theme? A analysis in Firefox by pressing F12 even don’t show a color-overlay of .home-wrap .intro ??

I think a possibility is, that the directory of my media has no reading-permission for visitors? Only for admin? but why?

### Problem solved ###

The pics on the landing page only show up if they are in a gallery. But i made a single portfolio post for every pic because it is easier to categorize it an looks better than a “normal” gallery. So i made a portfolio page called “portfolio-blindpage” with a gallery and set it to “private” for not showing up in frontend for visitors. This “private” was the reason that the pics weren’t visible on landing page. Setting this post to “published” solved my problem.
