I’ve read other questions related to the font/logo used in the demo, and I’ve attempted to make my own version to add to my own site. Unfortunately, I don’t understand where to add it and how to have it replace the “Welcome” that is currently in the same spot (though smaller and not angled like in the demo).
Can you please give more specific instructions on how to emulate the demo logo?
As I said, I read that post as well as a few others (such as the custom css post), but I still don’t understand where to add it and have it look just as the demo. I was hoping since that was part of the demo it would be something I could easily replace with a different name, but it seems more complicated.
Can you please provide more detailed instructions for a beginner in order to achieve the same style as the demo?
Hi,
You need to install and run one click demo import plugin.
Please read the documentation. When you run the plugin, you will get the same dummy data and style so you can easily edit it.
Thanks
I’m sorry for the continued questions, but I’m not well-versed in the program.
I installed the theme and then child theme (since the demo didn’t show up with just the parent theme even after I followed the documentation). Outside of a few modifications I’ve made, everything looks like the demo except for the logo. Should I deactivate the theme and start over with the plugin?
Assuming that works, can you please tell me where I will need to go to alter the logo once I do this? I have tried importing a new png like the demo one, but I can’t find where to replace it.
Hi, Please go to appearance > theme options > general > image logo > change or upload your logo.
When uploading your image logo, you need to set Link Url = FileUrl Size : Full Size and then click on “Insert Into Post” button.
Thanks
