Homepage + Portfolio

    Hi,
After the recent WordPress update it appears I’m running into an issue with setting the image of my homepage – there is no longer a “set featured image” section for the page. How can I get this back so I can upload a homepage background?

One other issue I’m having is with the Portfolio pages. When I set the Portfolio category page to “Standard” I see a blank white page pop up instead of showing the standard title/content. An example can be seen here: http://marketingcompass.com/#/portfolio/portfolio/linear-regression/

Any help in the above two areas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nevermind on the homepage part, I figured it out.

For anyone else that runs into this issue in the future, you can set the homepage featured image by clicking the “Add Media” button, and in the left column select the “Featured Image” option.

Still need help with the portfolio though. Thanks!

Hi, Go to settings > Permalinks and choose default and save it.
Then change it to post name and save it and check it again.
If you still have the same issue, deactivate all your plugin and try it again.
If you have some portfolio departments with no portfolio posts under it, that’s why the portfolio page looks weird, if you delete your empty departments or create posts inside them and add gallery to that posts, your problem should be solved.
