Hi,

How can I translate the read more button? I tried it with the locotranslate plugin, but that doesn’t work. Can I solve it with a code in the child theme? I know that read more is in the automatic-excerpt.php.
I have now translated it into the main theme, but I want to translate it into the child theme. Otherwise it might be lost with a theme update

Hi,
When you visit the loco translate plugin, click to child theme then choose the new language and you can translate the child theme.

Please go to loco translate > home > efor > overview > new language > choose your language > and start translating.

I have tested on my side and working well. You can translate theme and shortcodes as well.
