Hi,
How do I change the “Follow Us” text in Prime Slider, where you add social media links? I want to change this text into my own language, but I can’t find this field in the Slider settings.
Please help.
Friendly regards,
KennHi Kenn,
Thank you for your message. The “Follow Us” text in Prime Slider is not directly editable inside the slider item settings. Instead, you can usually change it in one of these ways:
Widget/Elementor editor – Edit the Prime Slider widget in Elementor and check under the Content or Style tabs. Some versions allow you to overwrite the default “Follow Us” text there.
Theme/Plugin translation – If the option isn’t visible, the text comes from the plugin’s language file. In that case, you can use a translation plugin such as Loco Translate to find “Follow Us” in Prime Slider’s strings and replace it with your preferred text.
Could you please check if you’re using Elementor to edit that slider and let me know if the text field shows up there? If not, I’ll guide you through using Loco Translate to change it into your language.
Friendly regards,
SerkanHi Serkan,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
I have checked the Prime Slider widget with Elementor editor and it is not possible. No place/field to overwrite the default “Follow Us” here.
Seems like I have to use the Loco Translate plugin to do the job, like you said. Can you please guide me through this using the Loco Translate to find it in the Prime Slider’s strings to change it into my language.
Thank you.
Friendly regards,
KennHi Kenn,
Perfect, thanks for checking! Here’s how you can change the “Follow Us” text using Loco Translate:
Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Loco Translate → Plugins.
Find Prime Slider in the list and click on it.
Choose the language you want to translate into (or click “New language” if it’s not already there).
In the search bar, type Follow Us.
When it appears in the string list, click on it, and enter your translation in the box below.
Click Save.
After saving, refresh your site and the text should appear in your language.
If you don’t see the change right away, try clearing your site cache (and browser cache).
Best regards,
SerkanHi Serkan,
Thank you so much for your help. It worked!
