How do I create the navigation bar across the top?

    Hi I’m completely new to WordPress and have very little coding technical knowledge.

    I’ve looked around and just can’t figure out how to create the navigation menu that goes across the top of the page. I only want: HOME   PROFILE   PORTFOLIO   CONTACT  but have absolutely no idea where to go.
