I want to edit the sample page, as in i want the format of the page to be the same but input all required details instead of the sample ones. I want to keep the thumbnails and the flow of the page and linking but change the content.

Hi,
I recommended you to edit documentation. Go to pages and edit the pages. Go to portfolio section and edit the portfolio item. Thats all

And now if i want to edit the url of that particular portfolio item from http://www.example.com/protfolio/abc to http://www.example.com/abc.
So how do i do that?

Hi,
You can not remove portfolio keyword from url and but you can only edit portfolio post slug abc.
– Go and edit page : portfolio
– Manually edit the slug (Permalink field) to what you want.
