Hi!

How to make that kind of portfolio page where when open the page you can see all the galleries together from all poerfolio galleries?

I allready read a lot of topic and see the links. Read documentation wich is not so good and understanable.
Maybe someone can just guid me how this thing must be done.

Did I need to make another page for portfolio or just add a galleries somehow? I dont understan anything of this processes. Somewhere I read that there must be some departments.
What is departments and where they must be made? All from A to Z.

all day try to make that portfolio page with galeries, but nothing going on. I’m tired of this.
I click here and there, try to make this departments whatever that means. And nothing. I hope i was made the right choice when buy this theme. I like the page, but this configuration is way to difficult to me.
I go to dashboard->porfolio->departmens-add new, name department like the gallery I have in portfolio menu,
then mark parent – porfolio.

Then go to the appierance-> menus->department box, add department pages to the menu.

And thats it.. i dont know what else can do there. Or is there some sense. I read that need to ad items the departments but there is no options to ad the items.
Maybe I do something wrong.
Or this instructions is to the begining when dont have any pages?
I already make all of stuff I want except this section portfolio with galleries. Or maybe there is no option to have menu with drop galleries and the page porfolio on who can click and then can see all portfolio categorie gallery?

Hi Kaspars,
Dashboard > pages > edit portfolio page and under the page attributes choose portfolio template ( it is located on the right hand side of the page =)

Thank’s Serkan, but I allready do this about week ago. I have a porfolio page, I had a drop menu when go on them with the mouse cursour. That thing that I’m interested – is possible make a that kind of stuff when click on the menu line – on the page portfolio – there show all the galleries that I have in drop menu. Or I just dont understand that, that is possible onlly on demo page to show an options to buyers?

Now I get just empty a portfolio page if I click on it. But I can watch the photo’s if I choose a
specific gallery that I made. I’m wondering that some of the people whos will look my page can click on portfolio page in the begining and then see nothing there can think that I had no photos.

Hi Serkan, I added some portfolio’s today but when I add photos, the photos are all placed in a vertical line in small size. I must me doing something wrong but I can’t find the solution to it. I tried standart, gallery 1 and 2 but it all doesn’t matter. Besides this, it’s all working fine: http://ac-fotografie.nl/portfolio/

Hi Annette,
Do you add the image one by one ? Please click the add media button then go to create a gallery button then choose your images.

Thank you Serkan, it’s working now! I added media but I forgot to select make gallery. Problem resolved :o)
