How to set up "Blog grid" as Homepage?

    Hi!
    Trying to set up The Blogger theme but I’m failing so far.
    I have read the documentation. I have followed all the steps but there is no design on my new blog. All I can see is The Blogger logo, title “Home page” and description field “This is your front page. Click the edit link to change the contents”.
    When I’m trying to change Styles on Appearance –> Customize –> Main Style
    there are no designated layouts

    My question is – How to set up a “Blog grid” layout as a homepage?

    Hi @daigabitena
    Please go to dashboard > settings > readings > choose static pages for home and blog or choose your latest post page for homepage.
    Go to appearance > customize > blog > choose blog:grid and save it.
    Thanks

    One more for your information:
    wp-instagram-widget plugin was closed on January 30, 2019 and is no longer available for download.

    What kind of alternatives would you recommend?

    Found it! :)

    After one fulltime day on The Blogger I have two more questions left:
    1. How to select bold headings on Featured area and turn of bolded headings on blog posts area like it’s designed on the original theme?
    2. How to set up a thin color line under the main menu and above the Footer Copyright area?

    Hi,
    The background color is the same with line color so you can not see it.
    You can use these custom css codes;

    .is-menu-top .menu-wrap { border-bottom: 1px solid #eee; }
    .site-footer .site-info { border-top: 1px solid #f3e0e0; }

    Please go to appearance > customize > slider > slider title font weight > 700 > and save it.
    If it doesn’t work, you can change the fonts from appearance > general > fonts >
    Thanks

    Hi! I am having the same issue that daigabitena was, I would like my home page to show that tiled menu with images that is shown in the screenshots of the Theme. I have TheBlogger currently installed but it just looks like regular blog format, with the title of the latest blog post and 1 large being the first thing coming up below my title on home page. downtownnative.com
    Thank you!

    Hi @christinabellaa
    Is it possible to explain the feature you failed by example?
    Thanks
