I’ve recently updated my Photographer theme and I still cannot get the image slider to work. How do I go about actually getting images to appear on the page and getting the image slider to function?

You mean slider post function ?

You should choose format gallery on the right hand side and use these shortcodes.

Thanks for your response! The “previous” and”next” buttons are now working, however my images are still not referencing correctly. I used the shortcode you gave and in the [slide image=”#”], I put the ID of the photo where the # was. How do I properly reference these images?

Additionally, I do not have the option to choose format gallery on the right hand side.

Hi,
Please create a page for a homepage. On the right-hand side, you will see the template box. Choose Homepage Landing with Slideshow and add your images via add media button and create a gallery. You will have a slider landing page for the homepage.
If you just want to use standard slider then you need to use this these shortcodes.
