For some reason, the images uploaded to a gallery are softer than the images that are embedded. Whenever I am viewing the images I upload in a gallery, they just seem very soft versus the actual image. Is there a way to turn this off and get the actual image quality being uploaded?

Hi,
Your original image size is actually smaller than the thumbnails so that is why they look like blurry. You can run the regenerate plugin once and try it again. Be sure that you are not adding the thumbnail size of the image.
