Can you please provide an idiot’s guide to the above? The Read documentation is very brief. I have created portfolio pages and portfolio items, set featured images and added extra images. But no images display. I don’t really understand departments and how they affect things. I’ve tried shortcodes etc. It must be straightforward to get images into pages. Where am I going wrong?

If you want to make them like in our demo site, import theme’s dummy data. Please read the Dummy Data section in the theme documentation.
