    Hi there

    I just set up a site using theblogger theme https://content.notesfromtheroad.ch. All works fine but, the images on the galleries aren’t compressed. No thumbnails are used. So every post with a gallery takes a lot of time to load. Even Lazy Load plugin doesnt work (all images same size of 200*200 px). Can you suggest a way I can afix this problem. My site has tons of galleries coming up. Many thanks.

    Regards, Joe

    Hi, Can you share the link with the gallery with me? I did not see the gallery page at the related url.
    Thanks

    Hi, actually gallery images are resized by height = 500px (a bit larger than it looks to provide retina support). However, your galleries have a huge amount of images which increases the loading time of the pages. So, instead of having a single gallery with 200 images, you may consider adding 10 galleries with 20 images each, I guess this should speed up the loading of your pages. If it doesn’t you may paginate those galleries into different pages by using nextpage;
