In the documentation I followed the instructions to import the data.  On the import wordpress screen it asks to “assign authors”.  What are we supposed to do, can you please clarify.

To make it easier for you to edit and save the imported content, you may want to reassign the author of the imported item to an existing user of this site. For example, you may want to import all the entries as admins entries.

If a new user is created by WordPress, a new password will be randomly generated and the new user’s role will be set as subscriber. Manually changing the new user’s details will be necessary.

1. Import author: Developer (pixelwars)
   or create new user with login name: 
   or assign posts to an existing user:  – Select –  jane 
2. Import author: Johnny Doe (johnnydoe)
   or create new user with login name:

in the documentation it says: Once you’ve installed WordPress Importer plugin, browse to the package folder, select XML data file and upload it. But the option in wordpress is the upload and import and then it takes you to the assign authors screen. I selected by user name and clicked submit but nothing happens it says “waiting for local host” at the bottom left corner. I am using a winodws 8.1 computer and have wordpress installed on it. So where do I go from here. Hope you will answer soon. thanks.

I just got this error message:

I just tried the import again and this time I didn’t assign any users just left everything blank and this is what I got but obvioulsy I want my name to appear as the use.

Failed to create new user for Developer. Their posts will be attributed to the current user.

Hi Mehnet, thank you for you good wishes. I love your theme. I purchased the theme yesterday and I just noticed it says Readme version 1.1. Why didn’t I get the latest version when I purchased it? How do I get the new version? Is there a reason you haven’t made the new version available on themeforest?

v1.1 is the latest version at this time. All updates are free. You can download the theme from ThemeForest anytime.
