Whenever I add a logo to my header, the text of my business disappears. How can I get this working.

The logo should appear first followed by the business name ( Peridot Consulting )

Hi,
You cannot use both text logo and image logo at the same time. But if you want to use them together, you need to add under or next to the logo using applications such as photoshop. This way, when you add an image logo, the text logo will also appear with your logo.

My suggestion is , in future there should be an option to have both images and logo name side by side on a theme.

This feature is not available in the default themes of WordPress and no one from our tens of thousands of customers has ever made such a request. But I will still forward your request to the developer.
