Hi,

Any reason why only plain permalinks work? I’ve tried with other types but they do not work, showing a 404 error.

I’ve tried changing htaccess permissions with no luck. Is there any issue regarding the theme and the permalinks?

Hi, This issue has been discussed before. The theme needs a hashtag to work properly.

Thank you for your answer, although I don’t know if I explained it properly. I don’t mind the hashtag and I am not talking about pages permalinks, but about the permalinks of the blog posts… so I do not know how that discussion can help me.

Let me formulate again the issue:
I go to settings – permalinks
I choose “Post name” instead of “Plain” format.
I go to my blog and click in one of my articles.
I get a 404 message (The requested URL /entrepreneurship-refugees/ was not found on this server)

I am not trying to remove any #. I am trying to use the post name in the permalink of the posts for SEO.

Is there anything that I am doing wrong? Is there any issue with the theme that does not allow to use custom post permalinks?

Please go to appearance > widgets > empathy template page > be sure that blog page is selected. If you still have any issue, send me your wp admin details via our contact form and add this topic url as well.
