But I have an issue with the Portfolio section, when I select “Edit with Elementor” I get the following error:
Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in
order for Elementor to work on this page.
The Portfolio section shows up on the website, but editing it has the issue.
Also if I edit an exist item under the portfolio like “Timber Haven Lodge” and all I did was change the name from Arkis to something else, it screws up the layout.
Hi, since the work page is a portfolio custom post index page, it can’t be edited with Elementor, you can add content to your Portfolio page with the default Gutenberg page editor, change the portfolio layout from the Template section on the right side of the edit screen and customize the layout/colors from “Appearance > Customize > Portfolio” section.
Ok thank you got that now, but I still have an issue with the Portfolio items.
In the demo there are 6 published items.
If I edit one of them for example “Timber Haven Lodge” just change some existing text and then select save, when I view it, it changes the way the page looks, this has happed to 4 of them “Timber Haven Lodge”, “Urban Vista Tower”, “Zenith Creek Villas” and “Luxe Horizon Suites” and even when I just select edit and then save with out editing, it changes the styling of the page. Also the text that I have change is visible in edit mode but it doesn’t change in the live website, even in incognito mode.
Hi,
It sounds like you’re experiencing a few different issues with your portfolio items after editing them.
