Issue with sidebar & ads

Hi! I’m having issues with my sidebar & my ads. I use Mediavine as my ad network. They programatically put ads in different places on my site, including the sidebar. We have noticed some issues that seem to be browser related.

    1. Internet Explorer – Sidebar widgets stop scrolling and ads scroll behind them.

    2. Chrome – Seems to be scrolling appropriately, but some of the ads seem to be cut off or not filling the space entirely.

    Here’s a link to my site: http://cubscoutideas.com/

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Please deactivate all your third party plugin and try it again.
If you still have the same issue, I would recommend you to use an alternative ad network.
But mostly, it is related to third party plugins.
    Thanks

I deactivated all of the third party plugins, but that still doesn’t work. I am making great money with my ad network, so I am going to stick with them.

This is how the ad network works: “we use Javascript that targets CSS selectors in your theme to place the ads.”

Is there anything else we can try? The network said they would be happy to talk to you.

I love this theme and want to continue using it, but I can’t if my ads won’t work properly.

Hi, this looks like an issue related to your minify/caching plugin, can you deactivate your minify plugin and let us know to check it again.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. :(

    Hi,
We will analyze the issue again and will keep you updated.
    Thanks for your patience.

If you need to get in touch with the ad network, you can email them at publishers@mediavine.com. They also said they would be glad to talk to you on the phone too.

Thanks for continuing the work on this.

I switched the theme on my site, but I really hope to switch back to TheBlogger. I have TheBlogger on my “sandbox” site. Here’s the link: http://cubscoutideas.wpstagecoach.com/

    Thanks!

    Hi again Sherry,

as I suspected Autoptimize plugin causes the issue, your site looks fine once I deactivated that plugin.
