Issue with Theme Upload – Missing style.css File

    Dear Support Team,

I recently purchased the “Consultify – Consulting Business WordPress Theme” from Themeforest, and I am encountering an issue while trying to upload the theme to my WordPress site.

Here is the error message I receive:

Installing theme from uploaded file: themeforest-XIdPFOhn-consultify-consulting-business-wordpress-theme.zip
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme installation failed.

I am currently developing the site on a subdomain (dev.værdier.dk) hosted on One.com. If necessary, I would be happy to provide you with access to the WordPress dashboard to help resolve this issue.

Could you please assist me in getting the theme uploaded and installed correctly? I look forward to your guidance on how to fix this problem.

Thank you in advance for your support!

    Best regards,
    Lars

    Hi, you need to unzip the package first and then upload only theme zip file, please see the post below for more information;

    Hi again,

Thank you for your previous assistance! I have now successfully uploaded both the child and parent theme.

    I have a couple of follow-up questions:

Is it possible to import and use the demo pages that were showcased in the theme preview on Themeforest? These would save me a lot of time when setting up the site.

I haven’t installed any plugins yet, and I would also like to know if the theme is compatible with Elementor, as I am considering using it to work on the site.

I appreciate your guidance on how to proceed and look forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Lars

    Hi,

Please refer to the documentation at the following URL and try the demo import method mentioned there:

    https://docs.pixelwars.org/consultify.php

Also, please note that the theme is compatible with Elementor, and it is used in the demo site.

If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to me.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hi again,

Thank you for your continued support! I have successfully installed the demo theme, but I’ve noticed that the header from the demo site is not included after the import.

Could you please assist me with how to get the correct header setup as seen on the demo site?

    Hi Lars,
When I edited the homepage via elementor, the header style was selected as transparent in the right side panel. The font was not visible because the header background was white. When I selected it as default, the menu fonts turned black and your menu was fixed.
    Thanks

    Hi Serkan

    Thank you very much.

If I want the “slider” seen on this demo: https://themes.pixelwars.org/consultify/demo-01/ or another picture as slider below the ‘Header’, how do I do that?

    Thanks for your support.

    Best regards,
    Lars

    Hi Lars,
You can do this with the mount feature, i.e. slider. I share a screenshot with you for clarity.

    Hi support,

I’m experiencing an issue on the “About” page of my website where the hero image overlaps and moves into the header. On the homepage, the header works correctly with a fixed layout, but on the “About” page (and possibly other subpages), the hero image extends into the header, which causes visual issues.

I would like to keep the same header layout as the homepage and ensure it remains consistent across all pages, specifically on the “About” page, preventing the hero image from going into the header. How can I resolve this issue and ensure the header stays as it is on the homepage for all subpages?

I’ve tried adjusting the margin and text color settings, but the problem persists. Any guidance on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi,
If you change the header style from transparent to default, it will be fixed like the homepage. The “Om os” page is your about me page as far as I understand. I edited the header style in it.
    Thanks

    Hi again wonderful Support team.

I’ve imported the demo content, but I can’t find the demo-site for “News” corresponding to this demo content: https://themes.pixelwars.org/consultify/demo-01/news/

Can you help me identify this demo-content for re-use purpose?

    Best regards,
    Lars
