Issue with woocommerce style changes

I’m having trouble updating my WooCommerce product and category pages. I’m using Elementor Pro to build custom templates for my shop, product, and category pages, but the designs aren’t showing up on the front end—my category page still displays the default layout. Additionally, some Essential Addons widgets aren’t working on my product page template. How can I resolve these issues?

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out and providing details.

Here are a few steps to help troubleshoot and resolve the issues you’re experiencing:

    1. Elementor Templates Not Displaying

    Please check the following:

    – Go to Elementor > Templates > Theme Builder and make sure your custom templates (Shop, Product, Category) are published and assigned to the correct conditions.
    – For the Product Archive (Category) pages, make sure your Archive template is assigned to “Product Category” under display conditions.
    – Clear all caches (browser, any caching plugins, and server-side cache if applicable).
    – Temporarily disable all other plugins except Elementor and WooCommerce to rule out conflicts.

    2. Essential Addons Widgets Not Working

    For Essential Addons-related issues:

    – Ensure that Essential Addons Pro (if you’re using Pro widgets) is installed and activated alongside the free version.
    – Go to Essential Addons > Elements in your dashboard and make sure the specific widgets you’re using are enabled.
    – Check the Console in your browser’s Developer Tools (F12) for any JavaScript errors that could affect widget rendering.
    – Try switching to a default theme like “Hello Elementor” temporarily to test if the issue is theme-related.

    3. Compatibility Note for Florz

Florz is compatible with both Elementor and WooCommerce, but some advanced customizations may require additional tweaks depending on plugin versions.

If the issue persists after these checks, feel free to:
    – Share temporary admin login via “Private Content” field (only visible to our support team).
    – Mention which widgets from Essential Addons are not working.

We’ll be happy to take a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

I’ve checked with other themes, and everything works fine—the issue only occurs when the Florz theme is active. With Florz, it only shows the default layout. I’ve already tried all the tests you suggested. Is there a way to override the default shop or product archive layout?

    Hi,

Thank you for the follow-up and the additional context.

It’s great to hear that you’ve tested with other themes — this helps narrow things down.

The Florz theme is designed to provide styled and optimized layouts for WooCommerce out of the box. Because of this, it includes its own templates for the Shop and Product Archive pages to ensure consistent design and performance.

This means that, in some cases, Elementor’s custom templates may not fully override the default layout without a few adjustments.

Here’s how you can still use your Elementor templates:
Use Elementor’s Display Conditions + WooCommerce Settings
Make sure your Archive template is set to “All Product Categories” in Elementor > Templates > Theme Builder > Archive.

Then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products, and under Shop Page, try selecting a new custom page that you design entirely with Elementor (e.g., “My Custom Shop”).

This can give you full control over layout while keeping your Florz theme active.

    About Essential Addons Widgets
Since the widgets work well with other themes, the issue may simply be due to a conflict in how scripts/styles are loaded. Once the custom layout is properly connected to Elementor, the widget issue will likely resolve too.

Let us know which widgets are still not displaying correctly, and we’ll be glad to check further.

    Best regards,
    Serkan
