Issues with spacings in header, colours in headers

    Hello

I have just started using this theme, trying to build a site for a friend.

I can find no way to make the header spacing move easily.

I have tried to insert several pieces of CSS customisations from other threads, with no luck.

I don’t know how to use Firebug yet, I’m learning but I need to get my friends profile site up and running as she is leaving universtiy this year and needs to begin to look for work.

If you look at the tagline it is squashed by the dotted line…

So can you help me with…

    1. Removing only the line above the tagline or
    2. removing all the dotted lines or
    3. Telling me how to do it as I cannot find it in the instructions at all… :)

The colours I think I have worked out from other posts. On the other themes I use the customisation actually changes the colours in the code as well as on the demo screen..

Sorry bud, but yours doesn’t… :(

Thanking you in advance for helping me.

I would really like to rate this theme higher than 2 or 3 …but… it’s not looking good right now… I want to rate it as high as possible. I don’t like rating below 4 or 5 but right now it’s not looking higher than 2 or 3… the 3 other themes I use are much easier to customise the above thing which to me are a basic.

One more thing please… How do I turn off the title of the page on the page…

EG: My Home as the nav title then it also appears at the top of the page itself. I don’t want or need it to do that… :)

OK, I’ve fixed the colour situation and the dotted line situation…

Now can I ask for help on how to remove some of the space between the body text on pages and the bottom of the Nav menu dotted line please.

Also can I change the colour of the dotted line when I hover over the menu item please… Not the actual text colour, just the dotted line colour.

    Thanks for your help.

Paste to Theme Options > Style > Custom CSS:

    .site-header { padding-bottom: 0px; }
