Hey man,

I’m really impressed with the theme as well as your customer support. I’ve perused all seven pages for this theme and I’ve seen mentions of it, but no answer that has worked for me.

I’m using the Homepage Alternative, but my Homepage isn’t showing the text for the “Latest From the Blog”. I know that you’ve mentioned to someone to check the Loco section in the documentation, but all I’ve seen that do is be beneficial for language translations. Am I missing something?

Hi, When you create a page for home alternate, you should choose homepage template under the page attribute on the right-hand side of the page.
Then go to settings > reading > Front page displays : choose your latest posts.

Thanks for the response, Serkan. I think I may have lacked clarity.

When I go to the Preview for the theme and I click HOME ALTERNATE, I see a static homepage with a label identifying the website creator as a “theoretical physicist”, a portfolio link, and text below that reads “Latest From the Blog” and then shows the most recent posts. I want that.

I have everything I want, including my posts showing, but I don’t have the text, “Latest From the Blog”. Where can I get that text? Is that just from the body and positioned at the bottom to make a seamless transition?

Hi frienca,
You created a page for homepage right? And you chose homepage template under the page attribute.
Go to settings > reading > Front page display choose static homepage.
Your issue will be solved.

Those were my settings already. I found that the text is actually coming from the Page Title. So, by changing the Homepage Title to “Latest Blog Posts”, I’ve finally managed to get it to work.

I hope that’s the actual way of doing it. :)
