Hi, If any post checked as sticky, the post will be placed at the top of the front page of posts. It is general rules for WordPress. If you don’t want to keep any post at the top, you should change the post from sticky to a normal post.
Hi, isn’t there a workaround for this please? In the Eric demo the slider doesn’t seem to contain neither recent posts nor sticky posts. Showing either of them on my site would make no sense. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply, but I was probably not clear enough. I don’t like having sticky posts in the slider or latest posts in the slider because both duplicate what is on the home page already. One remedy I can think of would be a code that would make the sticky posts act like regular posts, meaning they would NOT appear on the home page in front of rest of the posts.
