Hey!

I haven’t been able to get working the lightbox video (from Vimeo url) and lightbox gallery.

for video, I’ve been trying the short code as well as Insert media > from url (x) Audio, Video, or Other File. I also have a featured image set for it. When useing short code, it opens a blank lightbox. When useing “from url” option, it opens the Vimeo url to a new window.

Same for lightbox gallery, when I click the lightbox gallery option on, it usually opens only one picture without any lightbox. I’m not sure how do I need to post the lightbox gallery pictures. Do I insert all of them on a post?

And one more thing, seems like I’m not able to change the link colors from black to any other color even if I’ve done the change from customize. Only the active link colors changes.

Hey, when trying to post lightbox video (vimeo url) I’m choosing from details box (x) lightbox video

When trying to post multiple pictures as lightbox gallery, I choose from details box (x) lightbox gallery. I have posted multiple pictures straight into blog post and clicked that option on.

(atm the blue panther featured pic is trying to be lightbox video. Atm there isn’t any lightbox gallery attempt since I didn’t get it to work yesterday)

You are typing video url but you should copy and paste the embed code. Go to the video page and click the Share button that appears when you hover your mouse over the video player.
In the pop-up window, you’ll see a field containing an embed code for the video.

For the built in Lightbox, is there a way to disable the lightbox and use a different one?

I have a lot of images on my site (www.sgclark.com/sandbox/wallpapers/epl for example) that I would like people to download but in the lightbox view, the alt menu does not give that option as with other lightboxes.

Alternatively, is there a way to add a ‘download’ link in the lightbox view under the image.

If you could point me to the place to make some customizations, I can do it myself…I’m just not sure where to go within the file folder structure.

I tried the download your images with right click and it is working very well. When you zoom the wallpapers you can right click and choose “save link as…” and download your pictures. I tried with chrome and safari. Which browser you are using for testing it?

Hi, thank you for your answer, I got the lightbox video to work.

I’m still missing your answer for the other problems: How to get lightbox gallery to work, where you have multiply pictures in a lightbox

And, how come changing the link color from customize isn’t working? Only the active link option changes – others stays black.

You should use shortcode in the content area and choose lightbox gallery option as well. [portfolio_lightbox_image first_item=”” title=”” url=””]

I just tested the link color and hover link color option is working in our demo website. Change and save it. Maybe you forgot the save button.

Hey, the link color settings are saved, tried again, not working. :) It shows the color change on the preview place, but not in actual page. Links are only black/grey, except the ‘menu active color’ is what I choose.

Well for now most importantly I would like to change the link color for button “More items” which appears in the bottom of my portfolio page + departments. It is light grey atm. So I’m not sure which url you need, but here is my page: http://www.varjosointu.com/wordpress/
