Logo ideal size? Now overlapping with content

    Hi,

    Thanks for the theme, I purchased it today and am trying it out. So far, first issue that I couldn’t solve regards the logo. I uploaded one but I suspect it’s not the ideal size as it’s fine on mobile, but on desktop it expands to cover the content. Have a look at http://www.notgifted.com/ – expand to 1000px width.

    – How do I fix it?
    – What are the rules that resize logo / content when decreasing window size?

    Lastly – Completely unrelated, but how do I get the updated theme when you release one? You send an email?

    Thanks,
    Ugo

    Hi Ugo,
    I did not observe a problem with the logo when I checked your related website.
    This custom css code will limit the size of your logo.

    @media screen and (min-width: 992px) { .site-header .site-title img { max-height: 95px; } }

    You can check out this related topic for getting information about updating the theme.

    Hi Serkan,

    Thanks for your reply.

    1- On theme update – done, I am using the Auto updates with Envato Market plugin. My setup is using theme+child. Will autoupdate work for both? Will I lose custom css saved in the “appearance-customize – custom css” field?

    2- I used the css you mentioned, in the field appearance-customize – custom css, but it doesn’t seem to work. What I mean by that issue, is that the logo goes above the white field. See screenshot here:

    Thanks and have a nice day,
    Ugo

    Hi Ugo,
    You will not get lost with any code update on the child theme and also in custom css code.

    This is not an error. It is a deliberately made design. We have created a beautiful design by flooding the logo. But if you do not want to use it, you can use the following code.

    @media screen and (min-width: 768px) { .site-header .site-title img { max-height: 65px !important; } }

    Also you can go to appearance > customize > site identity > and set up your logo size and save it.
    Thanks
